Key Elements of Your Position
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads through selective cold calling, territory visits, attending industry trade shows, providing product demonstrations, and working leads from direct mail and other marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain detailed and updated opportunity details in HRS’ proprietary ERP/CRM system for each account to ensure that the appropriate sales support resources can be available and to assist in preparing accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Aggressively build a new and competitive business pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly consistently and annual revenue quotas.
- Proactively prospect for new decision-making executive contacts at key prospect targets and diversify prospect relationships with contacts at multiple levels.
- ·Promote HRS company image, products, services, and thought leadership.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience - preferably with experience utilizing, servicing, or selling POS, PMS, and related technologies within the space.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally, approximately 25-50%, depending on your territory.
- Pro-active personality with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Show a professional work ethic together with a sense of responsibility.
- Display excellent communication abilities and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Show a drive and passion for improving sales.
- Maintain a hunger to learn and succeed.
- Demonstrate the ability to open doors and close deals.
- English speaking – Native or bilingual
Preferred:
- Experienced user of Opera / Fidelio and/or MICROS systems is a plus.
- The ideal candidate will have work experience with one of the major Hospitality service providers, as well as relevant contacts within the hospitality marketplace.
- Experience selling to multi-divisional, inter-agency teams and “C” level buyers (CEO, CMO, CIO, CFO, Department Directors, etc.)
